Ballet Junior Intensive - full day

The Junior Intensive program is offered for beginning through intermediate level ballet students in grades 2-12. Students focus on improving technique through daily ballet classes while broadening their skills in tap, jazz and performing arts classes.  Beginning pointe classes will be offered for select students.

The Patel Conservatory is in the heart of downtown Tampa in the Straz Center. Students take class in six beautiful, spacious studios with sprung Marley® floors in our home facility and at our nearby sister campuses.

Junior Intensive FAQ's

Audition Information

No audition is required, but all students must take a placement class in ballet to determine their level of proficiency before registration. Contact PCYB at 813.222.1263 to schedule a placement appointment. Students are divided into groups based on their ballet placement. PCYB faculty members make all decisions regarding ballet placement and group assignments. Current PCYB students who have completed Primary, Intro. to Ballet for Boys, Preparatory and Levels 1A, 1B, 2A and 2B are strongly encouraged to attend this program to maintain their training during the summer. Eligible students receive placement information from faculty in the spring.
