Directions/ParkingFor detailed directions and a map to the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Conservatory Parking We’re very fortunate that the Patel Conservatory of the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center is in the heart of downtown. The benefits are numerous, but please remember that The Conservatory is a large and busy place located in an urban area. Parents should review personal safety rules with their children on a regular basis. Several times a year, TBPAC hosts popular events that take place on class evenings. Parking will be a challenge on these evenings because street parking becomes filled and the parking lots charge a fee. In general, parking is limited. We recommend carpooling and dropping off whenever possible. For parking, we recommend using the Poe Garage, which is just southwest of the John F. Germany Library, an easy walk from The Conservatory through a covered pedestrian bridge. A portion of the parking fees supports the maintenance of TBPAC. Parking for the disabled is at the Arrival Plaza located off Tyler Street. There are parking lots available across the street from TBPAC and east of the Holiday Inn on Fortune Street. Metered spaces are available at no cost after 6 p.m. along any of the surrounding streets. Students should not walk alone to and from their cars. Using public transportation to get here? Visit www.hartline.org. Arriving and Departing A $25 fee will be assessed for any student picked up or dropped off for class beyond The Conservatory's stated policy in the Student Handbook.
