Next Generation Ballet PhotoAwarded “Outstanding School” at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) New York City finals, Next Generation Ballet (NGB), is a stepping stone for great talent. Acclaimed choreographer and former New York City Ballet Principal Dancer Philip Neal has been engaged as the interim artistic director of NGB’s 2015 Summer Intensive. Our outstanding school faculty will be joined by guest teachers in offering excellent individualized instruction and coaching. NGB is part of one of the largest performing arts centers in America, the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, Florida.

Featuring 30 to 35 hours of instruction weekly, the NGB Summer Intensive program offers the perfect mix of a daily intense dance schedule, a structured and safe environment and a professional performance opportunity on a world class stage. Several weekly activites are scheduled including educational seminars, movie nights and theme park excursions on Sundays. Students are provided with individual attention, a dormitory within walking distance and a comprehensive meal plan. Advanced students may also audition for the NGB Trainee program.

Live auditions are preferred (please bring the following photos with you: 1st arabesque en pointe and a headshot); however, brief class (no longer than 5 minutes) or YAGP classical variations submitted on YouTube will be accepted as an audition. Upload your audition video to a YouTube account, and send the link and a completed audition form to with a subject line of "NGB Summer Intensive audition video." Video auditions are accepted until the program fills to capacity.
