For the Community
Since its doors opened in 2004, with an initial offering of 35 classes and 750 students, the Patel Conservatory has grown to become the leading provider of performing arts education for the entire Tampa Bay community. We actively seek to develop ongoing performing arts educational experiences with select Tampa Bay area agencies, community organizations and schools.

The Straz Center’s Lecture and Talk-Back Series features free pre-performance lectures and post-performance talk-backs that provide an educational behind-the-scenes look at artists and art forms for selected performances.
