FCAT and Sunshine State Standards
The Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) measures how well students are learning the skills and competencies outlined in the Sunshine State Standards as set forth by the Florida Department of Education. We recognize the challenges that FCAT poses to teachers, and understand teachers’ reluctance to take students away from the classroom environment to attend performances during the school day. To enhance the educational connection between our shows and your curriculum, Study Guides are created specifically for each Field Trip production, and meet Sunshine State Standards.
