Education Outreach
Through its programming and educational programs, the Patel Conservatory at the Straz Center shares the performing arts and offers unique and diverse opportunities throughout the Tampa Bay community. We provide performing arts experiences, educational outreaches and enrichment through a variety of programs for educators, families, community partners, and adults.
For Educators
The Patel Conservatory offers a variety of educational enhancement opportunities for teachers in the Tampa Bay community who are associated with public, private, and home schools, as well as colleges and universities.

For the Community
Since its doors opened in 2004, with an initial offering of 35 classes and 750 students, the Patel Conservatory has grown to become the leading provider of performing arts education for the entire Tampa Bay community.

For Adults
The Patel Conservatory not only provides educational opportunities for youth but we also provide educational opportunities for adults. The opportunities range from Workshops and Masters Classes to our talk back and lectures after performances.
