Theater
Patel Conservatory Theater Program
The Theater Department at the Patel Conservatory offers classes for students ages 3 to adult, from entry-level enrichment experiences in Creative Drama to advanced-level training in musical and non-musical theater.
In all classes, students have an opportunity to demonstrate the skills they have learned in either Open Classroom or Showcase performances. As part of the class curriculum, students in select classes will attend a professional theatre performance at the Straz Center. Attending a live performance provides students with an enhanced learning experience wherein they can see the skills they are acquiring in the classroom being applied by professional artists.
There have been a few changes in the theater department. Please take a look at the following documents to help you better comprehend the developments in our new and improved Patel Conservatory Theater Department.
