Zoe Goode, Flute Instructor

Originally from Manchester, England, Zoe Goode began her musical studies on piano at age seven and flute at age eight. She attended the Royal Academy of Music in London, graduating with a bachelor’s first class honors degree. She later achieved a master’s degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Her orchestral training includes involvement with both the Philharmonia and London Symphony Orchestra’s side-by-side young artist programs. She studied with such prominent teachers as Michael Cox, Clare Southworth and Philippa Davies and played in master classes for William Bennett, Peter Lloyd and Michel Debost amongst many others.


Goode has performed with orchestras around the UK including the BBC Philharmonic and the Halle Orchestra, while maintaining a large teaching studio in London and Hertfordshire. She has broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 and performed around the world with orchestras and chamber ensembles, including at the Aldeburgh Festival, England and prominent venues in Italy and Spain. In 2008 she won the position of Principal Piccolo with the Orquesta Filarmonica de Santiago in Santiago, Chile. Performing a year round schedule of opera, ballet, and symphonic repertoire, Goode also appeared in several television commercials in Chile as well as actively performing with the Teatro Muncipal Chamber Ensemble. She currently performs with orchestras throughout Florida and is excited to be a member of the teaching faculty at the Patel Conservatory.
