James W. Crumbly, Jr., Director, Jazz Program

James W. Crumbly, Jr. is an instructor at Middleton High School where he teaches chorus and orchestra. He taught Jazz Studies at the University of Toledo, Central State University and Anderson University, and has been a music educator for more than 30 years. A guest pianist on national and international stages, Crumbly is a composer, arranger, producer, and gospel music workshop clinician. He earned a bachelor's and a master's degree in Music Education from the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester. Crumbly teaches Jazz Ensemble at the Patel Conservatory. He also serves as arranger and Music Director for the Patel Conservatory Youth Theater ensemble.
