Robert Schoos, Orchestra Winds Coach

Robert Schoos is in his second year as the Director of Bands and Orchestras at the Rampello K-8 Magnet Partnership School in downtown Tampa. Schoos also is the instructor of Horn at Vivian Gaither High School and Howard W. Blake High School. He performs frequently around Florida and is in the process of creating a national summer horn camp to be located in Tampa. He also is a member of the Florida Bandmasters Association, the Florida Orchestra Association, the Music Educators National Conference and the International Horn Society. He is a graduate of Florida State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Music Performance. While at FSU, he was in the Horn Studio of Dr. William Capps and performed in the Symphony and Opera Orchestras, as well as the highly acclaimed Wind Orchestra under the direction of Dr. James Croft. He is the conductor of the Chamber Winds Ensemble and the brass coach for the Patel Conservatory Youth Orchestra.
