Nicole Benton, Violin Instructor
Nicole Benton, a native of Ashland, Kentucky, holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree with high honors in music performance. She has worked for the past several years as an active freelance musician, teacher, and chamber music coach, performing concerts throughout the United States, Germany, and Austria within various orchestras, opera companies, and chamber groups. Locally, she has worked within such groups as the Florida Orchestra, Opera Tampa, St. Pete Opera, and Nova Era, and continues to work with groups outside of the state such as the Charleston Symphony (South Carolina) and the Ohio Valley Symphony. She has taught private lessons and technique clinics at Harrison Center for the Arts and at the Florida Southern College String Workshop, as well as maintaining a large private studio. Currently, she serves as a teaching and performance assistant at the University of South Florida, where she is earning a further degree in chamber music alongside her colleagues in The President's Trio.
