Amanda Daniels, Clarinet Instructor
Originally from Flatwoods, KY, Amanda Daniels is an active freelance clarinetist and woodwind instructor. She studied undergraduate music at Morehead State University in Kentucky, and received her masters in Clarinet Performance from East Carolina University. She is currently continuing her studies through the chamber music program at University of South Florida.
Over the past several years Daniels has worked with the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra (NC), Tar River Symphonic Band, Southwest Florida Symphony, Bluegrass Wind Ensemble (KY), Sacred Winds Ensemble (KY), the North Carolina Wind Orchestra, and Florida Wind Band. She has also participated in international concert tours, performing in several cities in Brazil and Spain.
As an educator Daniels has taught private clarinet, flute, and saxophone lessons in Kentucky, Ohio, North Carolina, and Florida over the last 10 years. She also teaches woodwind sectionals and coaches marching band in the summer months. Daniels teaches clarinet at the Patel Conservatory at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts and is currently seeking new students in the Tampa Bay area.
